Wheelchair Basketball is Coming Home!

For 40 years the ISCD basketball teams have been an international phenomenon; winning back-to-back European and world championships and producing some of the best wheelchair basketball players in the world. We are now set to rebuild the premier basketball team.

Meet our 2012 Olympic Hopefuls

The ISCD wishes to maintain its role as a world leader in the world of professional wheelchair sports. In the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games, thanks to a strict and complete 4 year preparation program – the ISCD athletes were able to win a total of five Olympic Medals. The burden of preparation of young athletes in various sport branches lies entirely on the shoulders of the ISCD. The following is a partial list of our 2012 Olympic hopes, and a breakdown of their Olympic preparation costs:

The Israel Open International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament - Ramat Hasharon

Michael Jeremiasz. ranked 4 in the world, will be one of the participants at the Israel Open 2009. More than 150 players will take part in the tournament, to be held in the Israel Tennis Center in Ramat Hasharon.
