DAY 2 – 18.10.10

Once the day riders have left us, the remaining courageous ones will have to endure the whole tour.
An amazing riding day on road 10, which runs along the western border with Egypt ( this road was built in the 80’ following the peace agreements with Egypt, and it is one of the longest roads in Israel, starting near Gaza and ends in Sayarim valley ).
The route will take us through the varied landscape of Haluza dunes, Agur dunes, Nitzana, Kadesh barnea extension, Negev Mountain Nature Reserve and up to mount Harif, the second highest mountain in the south ( 1012 M).
The route is mostly moderate and ends with “the cherry on top”, the climb to mount Harif.
