- Age - Cyclists under 18 can take part in the ride if accompanied by a parent or a responsible adult. The minor should be able to meet the ride's physical challenge.
- Helmet – Each cyclist must wear a proper helmet to insure safety throughout the bike challenge.
- Bike Challenge Shirt – The cyclists will receive an ISCD "Good Wheel 2008" T-shirt to wear during the bike challenge, both for safety and for recognizable purposes.
- Accommodation – Cyclists will share rooms according to the lodging available conditions. The ISCD will try to accommodate cyclists requests to group together.
- Bike Challenge route – The route planned for "Good Wheel 2008" may change according to unexpected restrictions.
