Wheelchair Basketball is one of the most popular and exciting wheelchair sports. Very athletic and competitive, Wheelchair Basketball players are role models for disabled children and an inspiration for all.
For 40 years the ISCD basketball teams have been an international phenomenon; winning back-to-back European and world championships and producing some of the best wheelchair basketball players in the world.
Despite the tough economy, the ISCD undertook the project of reviving the glorious days of our basketball team. One of Israel's best players and a member of the ISCD has been appointed the leader of the project and we hope this would attract many more disabled children and youngsters to play and become stronger in body and mind.
